8 Sail Brewery held its 9th Annual Beer Festival on the last weekend of July, coinciding with Heckington Show. 8 Sail celebrations got under way on the Thursday for its Preview Evening when the full range of ales were on offer. 13 of 8 Sail's and 14 guest beers along with 3 local ciders were on the menu.

The long weekend continued as the weather changed from hot and steamy to breezy and wet. However the punters came and sampled the beers whatever the weather. Fen folk were there to make a presence (as well as supping their share) and new Membership Secretary, Rachel, was on hand to pass on information and leaflets about Fenland and CAMRA to the punters. By the Sunday most casks had been supped dry.

A most successful beer festival for 8 Sail and Fenland.
