Fenland Camra held its latest social event at Sleaford Cricket Club to watch Sleaford 1sts play Nettleham 1sts in conjunction with sampling ales and ciders at the Club's Beer and Cider Festival.

Ten beers and nine ciders were on offer with most of the beers coming from small breweries and all ales and ciders being sponsored by local businesses and members of the Cricket Club. Fen folk were able to watch proceedings on the cricket pitch whilst imbibing in seated comfort. The scores on the field were Nettleham 161 all out and Sleaford 162 for 4.

The beer fest and cricket matches continued on the Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday, with Sleaford teams winning on both days.
