On Saturday 11th July, the award presentation was made to the The Crown Hotel, Holbeach, as Lincolnshire CAMRA Pub of the Year. Presenting the certificate, Bob Foulgar, Lincolnshire CAMRA Organiser, congratulated the pub on the award and said the Crown would now go forward to the next round of the competition which would be the East Midlands POTY, with pubs from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire. Landlord Stuart Griffiths paid tribute to his staff and loyal customers.
