Fenland members took to the tracks to Wainfleet on their latest social event to join Bateman's Brewery for their beer and sausage festival.

The sunny day was very popular and long queues to the bar led out to the garden. The wait was well worth it to sample XB, Gold, 5G and XXXB - the Dark M running out early days. After collecting a couple of pints each (to avoid an early return to the queue) the next objective was to join the sausage queue.

After stocking up with ale and grub there was plenty of time to catch up with fellow Fenland members and other visitors from far and wide. All too soon it was time to catch return trains and buses. Another grand day out.
