8 Sail Brewery won a bronze award for their Victorian Porter at the CAMRA National Winter Ales Festival held in the Roundhouse, Derby, as did Batemans for their Salem Porter.

Several branch members enjoyed a day out in Derby, sampling beers at the Festival, and also at the Alexandra Hotel and the Brunswick. The Festival will be moving to Norwich for the next three years. The dates for the NWAF 2017 are 21st – 24th February.
