Re-opened in April 2026 following a long period of closure. The pub has undergone a complete internal refurbishment and now features one long room in a restrained, modern style with a bar at one end. Tables and chairs are complemented by comfy settees. The pub holds various events including a monthly quiz night. Saturday nights feature street food with a vendor located in the extensive garden area. Scott the landlord and his team are trying very hard to make the pub a real community hub for the village.
