8 Sail Brewery's Halloween Beer Festival from 26th to 28th October had a few ghoulish ale names amongst the beers on offer with many, from the dark side. The brewery had 6 beers on, Golden Ale (4.4%), Trick or Treat (4.4%) which had a touch of cinnamon or maybe nutmeg flavours and topical pumpkin, Victorian Porter (5%), Sail away (5%), John Barleycorn (5.5%), and Black Widow (5.5%). From Grafters came Ruby Jewel at 3.8%, and from Muirhouse was Moonster Mash at a whacking 6%.

Quite a few Fenland folk sampled the beers over the week-end along with a couple of Peterborough Branch members. A good time was had by all.
