Kings Lynn museum hosts pubs exhibition and walks

Wednesday 20 March 2013

The True's Yard Fisherfolk Museum in King's Lynn is holding an exhibition about some of the historic pubs in the town. In 1845 the town boasted 149 hostelries.

In connection with the exhibition, there are a series of walks around historic pubs of the town. They'll be led by a member of the museum staff and will include talks on the way.

The first walk is on Friday 5th April, starting at 4pm from True's Yard in North Street and finishing at a local hostelry about 6pm. The cost is £4 a person, all proceeds to the benefit of the museum.
